Community Outreach
Nicor Gas and ComEd are committed to keeping the community informed about the Aurora Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) Environmental Cleanup Project. Fact sheets are prepared and distributed to neighbors and other interested parties as the project reaches major milestones. Links to past fact sheets and other community outreach materials for the Aurora MGP are found below.
Documentation is provided to the Illinois EPA throughout the Aurora Manufactured Gas Plant MGP Environmental Cleanup Project . An information repository has also been set up at the Santori Public Library, located at 101 S. River Street.
